It seems that the pace of change in the way we live and work is moving at an ever increasing rate.  Technology has not only enabled us to do things quicker and with less people but it has also enhanced the knowledge of customers and their expectations for better quality and service.  Consequently this demands a lot more of any business to be leaner and more responsive.  People are the most flexible asset a business has. With good management, they are capable of improving their performance, learning new techniques and adapting to change.

This workshop is part of our series designed for busy owners and managers to improve performance and plan for success. This workshop helps you to understand how to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviour of teams and individuals so that they can perform effectively now and in the future.

The content includes guidance and tips on how to identify gaps in performance and ways to address them making best use of the time and resources available. It also explores effective ways to deal with under-performance.

The tools and guidance provided include forms for planning learning and development and evaluating the impact on performance.

Further support can also be provided in the form of one-to-one support with a business specialist.

What's covered in the workshop?

  • Identifying development needs
  • How people learn
  • Developing skills and knowledge
  • Agreeing learning goals that matter
