Some businesses spend more time and effort in acquiring and maintaining their equipment than they do their people.  No matter how good it is, the equipment will last a few years at best.   With care and attention, teams and individuals will rise to the challenge of contributing to your business success. They are capable of adapting to change, improving their own performance and maintaining their skills and knowledge. Motivated people are less likely to be absent, more likely to go the extra mile and are far easier to manage.

This workshop is part of our series designed for busy owners and managers to improve performance and plan for success. This module helps you to understand what motivates people so that you can ensure everyone is effective in carrying out their role to achieve high performance.  Using existing performance measures, you will be shown how to link personal targets to business plans.

Content includes guidance on how to review individual performance and manage improvements so that everyone is competent to fulfil their responsibilities.

The materials include further guidance and tools to help develop appraisal/review/performance management forms.

Further support can also be provided in the form of one-to-one support with a business specialist.
