Criteria
To qualify, you must employ a 16-19 year old who has faced barriers in the past, or who has completed one of our employability programmes. The incentive is also open to businesses in specific sectors.
Restrictions
This incentive is available to businesses in any sector taking on a young person, as a Modern Apprentice, who:
has participated in the Get Ready for Work programme and started the Modern Apprenticeship within 26 weeks of their leaving date from Get Ready for Work. (Start date of Modern Apprenticeship must be from 17 June 2010 onwards).
has an ex-offending background
has a looked after or care leaving background
has left the Targeted Pathways to Apprenticeship programme after 14 May 2010 and has a 'live' MA assignment on CTS. (Please note the MA assignment must still be live on CTS from 11 November 2010 onwards).
