Terms and Conditions
This course aims to help new users of R to quickly move up the steep learning gradient of using R and reach the stage where their productivity will be significantly enhanced through its use. During the course you look at practical examples that demonstrate how the knowledge of R will increase analytical productivity compared with using more traditional approaches of spreadsheets and GUI based statistical packages. You will receive an R package containing the data and code used in the course, together with extensive course notes. The examples can be easily adapted to run on other data sets. We would also encourage you to bring your own data, so you can practice applying methods to novel data sets at the end of the course. There is also the option of bringing your own laptops, which will allow you to install the software during the sessions.
