Description
This role is a fantastic opportunity to work on a new Permaculture Project for Northcote under the direction and mentorship of Offshoots - Groundworks Pennine Lancashire. You will also receive training in the workplace delivered by Myerscough College.
You will be working under the direction of Nigel Haworth who is developing a permaculture site at the Northcote site in Langho, Blackburn.
This really is a once in a lifetime opportunity to carve a career path within the industry.
Main duties Include:
Carrying out all horticultural tasks for gardens and other areas within the grounds to high standards.
To be responsible for the maintenance of the gardens and honey bee colonies at Offshoots.
To support the Management in a proactive way, ensuring smooth successful running of the business/projects.

The working week will be 40 hours (days & times may vary) & you will earn £3.50 per hour.
Training will be provided in the workplace by Myerscough College & you will work towards an Advanced Apprenticeship in Horticulture.
