Description
Assistant dairy herdsman required to join our team of three milking 250 holstein friesian cows on a family run farm in North Essex.
Milking is twice daily on a 24/24 herringbone parlour. Calving is from May to January. A.I. and foot trimming would be useful but training can be provided.
Duties would include milking, TMR feeding with a mixer wagon, scraping, calf and youngstock care, dry cow management.
Accommodation within half a mile of the farm is provided in the form of a three bedroom semi-detached house.
