Description
The Zoological Society of London (ZSL) is looking for confident, enthusiastic and passionate people to join their in-house street fundraising team. With the help of a team of street fundraisers we are hoping to increase the awareness of ZSL and attract new supporters.
Job role includes:
• Recruiting monthly donors via face to face fundraising at various sites across Greater London, this could be a mixture of high street and door to door fundraising
• Carrying out outbound follow-up calls to increase their level of support from a 'text to donate' supporter to a regular monthly donor
• Promoting ZSL and acting as an ambassador for them
• Travel will be to different sites daily across Greater London, and travel to sites outside zones 1-3 will be paid for
• Full training will be given in-house
The hourly rate is £8.32 an hour Monday – Friday, and £8.98 an hour on a Saturday. Working hours are 37.5 hours a week over 5 days.
The posts are available for an immediate start and will run through until 31st March 2012
