31/03/2011 - In March we celebrated the achievements of women across England who had benefited from our Women and Work programme.

Held at Nailcote Hall, Nr Coventry, the Women and Work Awards, sponsored by Vectorworks Training, celebrate women working in the land-based and environmental industries who have, with support from this innovative project, developed their career in the sector.

The event also showcased the talent and skills of these women, highlighting the vital contribution that skills and knowledge transfer have in developing successful businesses and careers – and the key contribution women make to this vital sector.

Outstanding Women and Work Learner of the Year - Sponsored by Vectorworks Training

Victoria Forsyth was awarded with the overall award of Outstanding Women and Work Learner of the Year.  Victoria had used Women and Work funding to get her tractor driving qualification and as a result was offered a full time job.

Skills Coach of the Year

Judy Randon, from Cassava, was awarded as the Skills Coach of the Year for all the support to the women she had worked with to take advantage of the Women and Work programme.
