Supported by LandSkills SE the graduation was part of an alumni conference focusing on the needs of agriculture in the future, with guest speakers Richard Ashworth MEP and Barney Holbeche, President of Concordia.

Richard Ashworth spoke about the future for European agriculture and discussed how this will affect those working in the industry.

Barney Holbeche spoke about the UK rural industry and how to safeguard food and agriculture. This was followed by a few questions from the audience chaired by Des Lambert, Principal of Plumpton College.

The event also hosted a student forum on the rural employment and future through the eyes of the students which discussed how they saw their futures in a global agricultural economy.
