New Segment President of GEA Farm Technologies

09/02/2012 - On February 1 2012 Dr. Ulrich Hüllmann became Segment President of GEA Farm Technologies, replacing Dirk Hejnal as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Dr. Hüllmann joined GEA Group 10 years ago and in 2008 became Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of GEA Farm Technologies, making this appointment part of a commitment to ensure continuity in the business strategy.

Dirk Hejnal still remains with the GEA Group and has taken over as Segment President of GEA Convenience Food Technologies.

Together with Dirk Hejnal, Dr. Hüllmann has driven the business strategy of GEA Farm Technologies forward over the past four years. During this time he has been instrumental in a number of key acquisitions. “I’d like to thank Dirk Hejnal for our joint time and efforts in the last few years and wish him all the best and much success in his new role. It has been a valuable experience to have worked together with him and to shape the future of GEA Farm Technologies.”

In the future, Dr. Hüllmann and his team will concentrate their efforts on bringing forward system solutions, which enables dairy producers to realise noticeably higher value and efficiency levels in milk production and livestock farming. “On this basis, we will develop next generation technologies which will shape the farm of the future“ Dr. Hüllmann continued.
