Lantra joins Yorkshire Forward at the Great Yorkshire Show

A Legal Requirement 

LandSkills, will join the Yorkshire Forward and XL Vets on it their stands to shout about its £1m winter training programme.

LandSkills Programme Manager, Julie Hamilton, said: “We can’t wait to talk to farmers, foresters and growers about the exciting winter line up that we have planned. Not only will they be able to take up progressive poultry training in time for the Broiler Welfare Directive, succession planning and more, but we will pay 70% of the cost.”

As part of the Rural Development Programme for England, LandSkills which is managed by Lantra Sector Skills Council on behalf of Yorkshire Forward, has helped 4,467 farmers, foresters and growers to improve the competitiveness of their business through skills development.
