09/02/2012 - Through an initiative supported by the National Apprenticeship Service, Lantra has secured grant funding to look at ways to improve apprenticeship take up within the Environmental Conservation industry by raising awareness of the apprenticeship framework and providing information, advice and guidance to potential employers and apprentices. The three partners working with Lantra are Ambios, BTCV and Herefordshire Nature Trust.

An employer briefing took place at Sharpham in Devon on the 27th January 2012. This was the first event and was conducted by Ambios team member Dr Rob Nunny to an audience of local conservation employers.
