02/09/2010 - Lantra, the Sector Skills Council for environmental and land-based industries is hosting a number of events during the Royal Highland Agricultural Show in Ingliston this week, so why not come along and see what we have to offer?

A range of events took place throughout the show.

Lantra events at the show  

Lantra will be running a number of events at the Royal Highland Show. These will include

  • Find out how a low carbon economy can benefit farmers, land managers and crofters.  Join us and Scottish Government Minister, Roseanna Cunningham MSP, Minister for Environment for lunch on Thursday 24th June at 12.30pm.
  • Are you running or thinking of starting a rural business?  Want to hear from other Scottish rural business women who will share advice on their business skills?  If so, join us on Friday 25th June at 10.00am to hear these success stories and discover opportunities available to you.
  • Hear about the benefits of Modern Apprenticeships and quiz apprentice and an employer.  Join us 12– 1pm on Friday 25th June.
  • Interested in a environmental and land-based careers? Come to the Lantra stand and find out more.
