The Assessment of Current Provision works alongside our Skills Assessment  - focussing on the training and qualifications needed to meet the level of skills employers demand.

It covers all 16 industries, building on similar research done in 2005/6 as part of the Sector Skills Agreement for the Land-based and Environmental Sector. Read more about the project...

Supply and Demand

What skills you need influences what training you need – supply needs to match your demand. Our research identifies what supply is out there

A UK Wide Study of Training Provision

We have designed each report to provide details of what courses and qualifications are available across each of our four nations, including an assessment of the quality of provision, what employers think of them and who is undertaking them.

The assessment looks into both formal, accredited learning in schools, further and higher education and training; and where possible captures more informal, non-accredited learning and continuous professional development.
