Who’s Who
Industry is at the core of our business, providing strategic direction for all our work. After all, who knows what industry needs better than industry itself?
So with industry working together with our own team of experts, you can be sure we deliver the right solutions for you and your business.
Our Structure
Our structure includes:
UK Board
Our UK Board ensures it fully represents our sector, drawing members from our industries and business partners. It provides strategic leadership that understands and is sensitive to our industries’ needs. Our trustees provide the vision and agree our Strategic and Business Plans, meeting four times a year.
They also ensure the financial stability of the Lantra Group of Companies, making annual returns to Companies House and the Charity Commissioners.
The Board has three sub-committees.
- Nominations and Governance Committee
Lantra has good governance and a positive culture. They nominate candidates to fill Board vacancies and make sure we have a balance of trustees’ skills, knowledge and experience. They review the leadership needs of the organisation so we can achieve our strategic objectives.
- Audit Committee
Ensures Lantra has sound financial management and the right internal controls and systems in place. This includes risk management and whistle blowing policies.
- Human Resources Committee
Agrees the remuneration of executives and non-executives based on performance against SMART objectives.

Advisory Groups
The Standards and Qualifications Advisory Group ensures that job standards, qualifications and learning frameworks are based on industry requirements. They also ensure regulatory authorities understand our industries’ needs. They agree the Standard and Qualifications Strategy and help develop ways of entering and progressing in our sector, including Apprenticeships.
