SALARY: Up to £30,000 per annum plus company car plus standard benefits
CONTRACT BASIS: Fixed term contract from asap to January 2012
HOURS: 37.5 hours - Monday to Friday
LOCATION: Homebased in the East Midlands
CLOSING DATE: Tuesday 16 March 2010
REPORTING TO: Regional Partnership Manager
Main purpose of role
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our regional team working on a region-wide programme to improve the competitiveness, efficiency and profitability of the region’s agriculture, horticulture and forestry sectors through skills and knowledge transfer.
Working closely with EMDA’s rural team to manage delivery of the skills funding element of the Rural Development Programme; building relationships with training providers to maximise their output and be pro-active in highlighting and dealing with any potential for under performance; producing reports for EMDA.
To be successful in this role you should be a self starter, have experience in the livestock industries, be able to facilitate industry workshops, have previous experience of project management. You will have excellent report writing and networking skills along with the ability to work to strict deadlines.
