Highway Electrical Skills Academy (HESA) Approved Training
Highway Electrical Skills Academy approved training courses are specifically designed for the Highway Electrical Sector. They meet the requirements of the Highway Electrical Registration Scheme (HERS) and NHSS 8, and provide the appropriate level of underpinning knowledge for the Highway Electrical National Vocational Qualification (NVQs) Levels 2 and 3 as well as providing direct correlation with the Highway Electrical Vocational Qualifications (VQs).

Who is our training suitable for?
HESA training isn’t just for those working onsite, the HESA courses provide the necessary underpinning knowledge leading to NVQ qualification, and/or HERS competency registration.
HESA training courses are aimed at Managers, clients, those in overseeing organisations and contractors in public lighting, signs, traffic signals, Variable Message Signs (VMS), cameras, highway communications, environmental monitoring and slot cutting who may, as part of their duties, require general or specific levels of knowledge.
