“In my current role of Production Controller I am responsible for day-to-day management of computerised stock control records, production planning, budgeting and forecasting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
“My typical working day involves mainly reporting and analysis. I am head of the planning department and so have to ensure department work targets are met. I am involved in long-term production strategic planning and reporting and analysis of key performance indicators to different Pan Fish departments. I also report to third parties.
“Training has improved my presentation and communication skills and boosted my confidence in doing my job. My new presentation skills have impacted my performance in my day to day tasks. I will continue to train and hope to continue successfully developing within the aquaculture industry, maintaining the respect of my peers and continuing to enjoy my work.”
