Despite working for 30 years as a groom and reaching the highest standard in the industry, Ronnie Dawes felt she had little formal recognition of her ability or experience.  When the British Grooms' Association introduced the EquineSkillsCV, developed by Lantra, Ronnie signed up to complete the elite level.  She talks about what she feels are the benefits of the EquineSkillsCV for her and the rest of the industry.

Helen has enjoyed riding and working with horses since she was 12 yrs old.  Her love for horses developed into an equine career when she left school and trained to teach.  After qualifying she took on a working student and then through the years, continued training more students each year, as well as teaching and competing.  In this way the business was born.  Helen also encourages taking on apprentices watch the film here.
