Demand from industry prompts flexible learning
06 Dec 07 - Bite-sized learning is now available in colleges after research by Lantra showed that the land-based engineering industry wants smaller units of training that can be delivered flexibly.
The Diploma in Environmental and Land-based Studies is a new qualification that will be available in some schools and colleges in England from September 2009, and will be available throughout England by 2013.
