The units have been developed directly from the National Occupational Standards through a working group consisting of employers, awarding bodies and providers. These units will then be used by the awarding bodies to develop qualifications so it is important that we agree the content and credit value of these.
Remember that credit is a measure of the volume of achievement that a unit represents. The credit value is arrived at by taking the notional learning time required to achieve the specified outcomes and dividing it by ten.

Ask yourself the following questions:
- Does the title of the unit reflect the content?
- Do you agree with the learning outcomes and assessment criteria? If not, please make any changes you feel should be included.
- Do you agree with the credit value? If not, please provide an alternative with reasons.
- Do you agree with the level of the unit?
