Lantra has submitted a bid to help fund a new programme, Business Skills for Rural Women programme to be rolled out in eight areas of Scotland. The programme will provide rural women with the business management and leadership skills necessary to improve the business performance of their rural business.
Jenny Leggate will be speaking at the Royal Highland Show on how she was able to benefit from the very successful programme last year, run in the Grampian, Borders and Tayside areas. Jenny progressed to take up a place on the Rural Leadership Programme. At the Royal Highland Show there will be an opportunity to meet other rural women and learn how many of the women went on the build successful businesses.
In partnership with NFU Scotland, Scottish Tenant Farmers Association (STFA) and the Scottish Rural Property and Business Association (SRPBA), Lantra has submitted a bid to the Scottish Rural Development Programme’s Skills development scheme.
