Professional Practice for Sustainable Development (PP4SD) provides businesses with training in sustainable development, which can help with business planning, marketing and efficiency.
The PP4SD training approach aims to increase your understanding of sustainability issues in these worrying times within a business setting. Based on a proven training course, it will enable owners, managers and staff of small and medium-sized companies to identify some of the main challenges they are facing, such as increases in energy costs, shortages of raw materials etc. and give them some business planning tools and ideas to help deal with these in a sustainable way.
Customers are increasingly demanding more environmentally-friendly goods and services, you may discover new marketing opportunities and expand your market.
For a limited time, funding is available to allow the university to deliver training events at no cost to yourselves, in most circumstances, and at your own premises if you prefer. The training materials are copyright free, and available in English and Welsh languages for your future use. The materials include case studies of a variety of businesses operating in Wales, and can be adapted to suit any type of business.
The WISE network can also offer free technical support and advice in many instances, for example, soil and water analyses.
