Lantra Stakeholder Survey shows rising reputation
Lantra was delighted with the findings from its latest stakeholder survey and would like to thank those who took the time to complete the survey last October. The survey showed that Lantra’s reputation with government departments/agencies and employer representative bodies had risen over the year. Lantra Chief Executive Peter Martin said, “I was delighted that this survey has shown we are valued and highly regarded by our stakeholders. The survey has highlighted areas where we can improve further, and we will be taking action to do this over the coming months.” Read more…

Apprenticeships in the spotlight
Apprenticeships continue to be an important route into a career within the sector.  Lantra works with training providers and industry to develop apprenticeships to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet industry needs.  Lantra is continuing its three year review of apprenticeship frameworks across the sector in the UK.  A series of successful apprentices were featured in a recent marketing campaign with support from Blue Peter gardener Chris Collins and John Hopkins of the Olympic Development Agency.  In addition the skills of apprentices have been recognised in the Scottish Lantra Land-based Learner of the Year Awards.
