About Lantra in England

Lantra works to improve the level of skills and business performance in companies across 17 industries, that together make up the environmental and land-based sector in the UK.

We work with employers to identify their business needs so that we can shape policies, funding and learning provision for their benefit. We promote the importance of having a highly skilled and motivated workforce through training and development with the aim of increasing business productivity, sustainability - and ultimately profitability.

Lantra is driving forward the skills and business development agenda in England.

Sector Skills Agreement for England

Our Sector Skills Agreement (SSA) is an agreement between employers, governments, partner organisations and Lantra to deliver agreed action plans for each of our 17 industries to meet the priority skill needs of the sector.
