Scotland

In Scotland, Lantra represents the interests of over 24,000 businesses which employ approximately 108,500 employees and a further 40,000 volunteers and 30,000 casual workers.  Our aim is to raise the level of skills, knowledge and enterprise of everyone working our industries, to improve the productive and economic growth of the sector. 

The Scottish Team work with governments, trade associations, funding bodies, training and education providers and other key strategic partners to drive forward Scotland's skills and business development agenda. 

Sector Skills Agreement for Scotland

Our Sector Skills Agreement (SSA) for Scotland is an agreement between employers, governments, partner organisations and Lantra to deliver agreed action plans for each of our 17 industries to meet the priority skill needs of the sector.

Lantra Scottish Land-based Learner of the Year Awards 2007

This year's Land-based Learner of the Year 2007  awards ceremony was once again a spectacular event celebrating the successes of people who have excelled in training.  

Volunteer survey

Thank you to everyone who took part in our volunteer survey. We have been delighted with the response. The findings of the research will be published on the website by the end of May 2008. The five winners of the prize draw will be notified by 14 March 2008.
