Women entrepreneurs in agriculture and forestry can develop business and leadership skills through the Business Skills for Rural Business Women 2010-12.
It recognises and highlights the place of rural business women as entrepreneurs within the Scottish rural economy, providing them with the skills to participate within industry groups and trade associations such as NFUS to become rural business ambassadors
We manage the project in partnership with the National Farmers’ Union of Scotland (NFUS), Scottish Rural Property and Business Association (SRPBA), the Scottish Tenant Farmers’ Association (STFA) and Scottish Forest & Timber Technologies. The programme has secured funding from the Scottish Government through the Scottish Rural Development Programme Skills Development Scheme.
