  • Delivered a presentation at Borders Union Show in partnership with Borders College on Modern Apprenticeships
  • Attended SRUC graduation at Glasgow University
  • Spoke at the Holyrood event ‘Making Rural Education Work’ on inspiring tomorrow’s rural workforce.  Lantra Industry Champion Lisa Askham also spoke about her career in aquaculture
  • Took a stand to showcase careers in agriculture, game and wildlife and aquaculture at the Food and Drink Expo event at Murrayfield.  Andrew Dixon, Industry Champion, attended to showcase careers in agriculture. Mara Seaweed also supported the stand
  • Gave RHET copies of our Primary school career poster to circulate to schools.
  • Attended the Scottish Learning Festival at SECC Glasgow
  • Took part in ‘Future of Scottish Agriculture Working Group’ event at Battleby with the four Scottish Government industry champions to discuss findings and next steps
  • Attended Apprenticeships and Training Conference
  • Attended Scottish Training Federation Conference
  • Attended Food and Drink Federation Parliamentary Reception on inspiring future food and drink superstars
  • Brought together interested groups to look at a Level 4 Technical Apprenticeship for the rural sector
  • Attended Holyrood conference on apprenticeships and training
  • Attended Confor conference about forestry in Scotland: from trees to timber homes
