Annual business survey (closing date extended to 29 February 2008)
The Lantra Annual Business Survey captures detailed and relevant information on the characteristics of the workforce, training and skills requirements and recruitment issues. The survey will be conducted year upon year to understand how these characteristics and skills requirements change over time. All businesses that complete and submit the survey to Lantra by midnight on 20 January 2008 will be entered into a free prize draw to win one of ten £100 Red Letter Day vouchers.
Volunteers survey (closing date extended to 1 February 2008)
Approximately 500,000 volunteers work on a regular basis in the environmental and land-based sector, mainly in environmental management and animal care, in both rural and urban areas. This research aims to find out which industries volunteers work in, their learning and development needs, how they currently access learning, how volunteers are meeting skills shortages in the sector and what the potential future demand for volunteering is in the sector. We are seeking responses from both the organisations that benefit from volunteers and the volunteers themselves.
