Visit to DARD Direct

A recent visit by Lantra staff to Inishkeen House in Enniskillen provided an opportunity to explore possibilities for the promotion of services which would complement those services DARD Direct currently deliver to farmers and rural dwellers.

DARD

DARD Direct is a ‘one stop shop’ which is being piloted by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. This service is designed to improve the delivery of DARD services to farmers and members of the rural community through providing more choice of how, when and where customers access the department’s services. It also aims to ensure that the majority of enquiries are satisfactorily answered at the first point of contact.

David Seffen, NI Partnership Manager, said: "DARD Direct is an excellent vehicle to promote complementary information such as CourseFinder which is an online service for those seeking education or training provision with the land-based and environmental industries."
