Role in Lantra:
As Team Administrator and Conference Centre Manager I have an important role to play within the Wales team, as well as providing a front of house service for customers using our conference facilities. I have now been at Lantra for four years.
History:
I come from a hospitality and administrative background, having been a conference coordinator for the Hotel Commodore in Llandrindod Wells, and leisure complex attendant in the Metropole Hotel, Llandrindod Wells. I have also worked for the Welsh Assembly Government, in digital mapping and also plant health.
Hobbies:
I am currently a Trustee of the Turner Syndrome Support Society, with a view to becoming Chair in the near future. Turner Syndrome (TS) is a chromosome abnormality affecting only females, of which I am one! To find out more about the Turner Syndrome Support Society visit www.tss.org.uk.
Most memorable moment at Lantra:
Looking through hundreds and hundreds of cars at the showground car parks at last year’s Winter Fair, trying to find the one that belonged to communications coordinator, Liz, after she forgot to pick up the Land-based Learner presentation vouchers.
