At a recent careers event held at the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise’s (CAFRE) Enniskillen Campus, equine students had the opportunity to meet with representatives from both industry and business in order to receive advice regarding careers within the equine and ancillary industries.
A seminar followed the informal part of the day whereby students had the opportunity to hear speakers give short presentations about their own specific area of work, with a question and answer session for students afterwards.
Many employers now recognise the importance of acquiring well trained and well qualified young people to work in their business, and CAFRE strive to ensure that they are giving young people the foundations of knowledge and skill they require.
