When you’ve got a quality product, it’s inevitable that someone, somewhere is going to want to copy it or falsely claim they have the real thing when they don’t.

As one of the UK’s leading awarding bodies, recognised and acknowledged by industry for quality and dependability, Lantra is constantly looking for ways to protect the integrity of our business from fraud by using technology and working with industry partners to develop effective solutions.

Working closely with CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) we are delighted to have now launched our new QR Code Security Certificate Identifier.

Going forward, all Lantra Awards Level One in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment certificates will now feature a QR code that links back to a central qualifications verification database.

The QR code will be used by CSCS to double check the authenticity of a presented certificate before they issue a CSCS card.

This is just one of the many checks and measures Lantra currently uses to protect the integrity of its awarding process. We are constantly looking ways to minimise fraud to ensure legitimate certificates retain their standing across industry.

The Lantra Awards Level One in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment certificate will now feature a QR code alongside the certificate number as shown below.
