Lantra’s newly unveiled Groundcare Maintenance suite proved a hit at Saltex, the leading turf management industry event at NEC Birmingham.
The exhibiting team met with a number of existing Lantra instructor/assessors and received an impressive number of enquiries from landscaping and pesticide professionals who were interested in our training and qualifications.
Bedford-based sports turf machinery specialists Mow-Sure have now successfully run the first training course from the suite, which took place between 1-2 November.
Along with the positive responses to the Groundcare training, the team were also approached by new industry professionals looking to become instructors with Lantra. Likewise, existing instructors also popped by the stand to ask about adding new skill areas across the landscaping and pesticide sectors. The team are now currently following up the event with a number of leads.
Popular social media star Jimmy the Mower also visited the stand, along with industry representatives STRI, Toro and Bernhard Grinders and existing providers Hortech, Nurture Landscapes and One Ash Training.
Market Development Manager at Lantra, David Fisher commented: “We had a great response to the new suite of training courses with plenty of interest from individuals booking onto courses.
There was a real buzz around the event, with a great positivity from people who had attended Lantra training.”
The team will be exhibiting next at the BFRS National Employment and Careers Fair in Catterick, on 21 November.
