Tyfu Cymru, the leading project supporting horticulture businesses in Wales, has announced a number of online webinars coming up over the next couple of weeks.

Specifically designed for commercial horticulture businesses, the courses cover topics such as online marketing, see cultivation and pest management.

Tyfu Cymru and Charles Dowding Webinar: No dig methods and advantages for intensive cropping

Thursday, 11 June, 1pm

In the first part of this webinar Charles presents the benefits of no dig and intensive cropping with an online walk through of no dig growing covering all aspects from no dig polytunnels to planting, composting, multisowing and propagation, including time saving tips. Part one is now available to view here

Part two of this webinar will be a Live Q&A session with Charles held on the 11th June at 1pm, which will enable you to ask your questions following part one of the webinar. You can also submit your questions in advance by emailing tyfucymru@lantra.co.uk

Tyfu Cymru seed training programme - webinar series

Webinar 1: June 19, 11am
Seed

This session will be introducing the key principles and looking at what we would consider the easiest crops to cultivate for seed – annuals that self-pollinate or annuals with simple isolation and pollination requirements.

Webinar 2: July 17, 11am
Seedlings

The second cultivation session will build on the first session and look at trickier crops – annuals that will readily cross-pollinate and biennials that require overwintering methods.
