About

A career as a Banksman

Banksmen are responsible for directing the movement of vehicles and plant around a site. They are essential to health and safety on sites and perform a vital role keeping people safe from harm.

A Banksman will communicate with a driver via a radio link or pre-arranged hand signals. They serve as the eyes and ears of vehicle drivers to ensure manoeuvres are done safely and don’t put anyone, or anything, in danger.
