About
For professional chainsaw operators working in forestry and arboriculture the industry recommendation is that for ’high risk‘ activities (paragraph 137 PUWER ACOP) the minimum level of adequacy of training is to a certificate of competence or nationally recognised qualification where assessment is carried out independently of the training, therefore, this course is not suitable for professional chainsaw users.
There is no doubting the chainsaw's usefulness – nor its power.
But in the wrong hands, it is also a very dangerous machine.
Our course will teach you how to operate a chainsaw safely and with real confidence.
It's specifically designed for learners who intend to use a chainsaw only occasionally.
