Level 3 Award in Stationary Rope Work Positioning and Rescue

This Qualification is intended to offer learners who will be accessing a tree using Stationary Rope Work Positioning the opportunity to achieve a recognised National Qualification that reflects the National Standards for the type of role they perform.

The Qualification is based on Lantra National Occupational Standards (NOS) and contains one mandatory Lantra RQF unit. This ensures that personnel working within the industry meet the minimum required standards. 

The qualification will provide the learner with the knowledge, understanding and skills required for using Stationary Rope Work Positioning.

Individuals may undertake training from a variety of sources; however, to achieve the qualification they must be assessed against all of the Learning Outcomes and Assessment Criteria set out in the qualification.

This Qualification Specification provides information for Provider staff involved in the planning, delivery and assessment of the Lantra Awards Level 3 Award in Stationary Rope Work Positioning and Rescue.
