First Aid at Work +F

If you work as a team in a forest setting, you’ll know there are special dangers to look out for. In the event of an emergency you will need the necessary skills and training to keep you and your colleagues safe.

The finer details

This is a three day training and assessment course. You'll practise and learn the skills you need to be able to give first aid before the professionals take over.

This course will build on your knowledge and understanding from the Emergency First Aid at Work and/or First Aid at Work courses and concentrate on the skills you need in the Forestry industry.

Our course has been developed to comply with the Forestry Commission +F as per the First Aid at Work – Forestry Commission Policy and in consultation with Forestry Industry Safety Accord (FISA).

There will be assessment and a certificate of training, plus you will be given a workbook to keep handy as a useful reference guide.

Worth noting: First aid at work certificates are valid for three years and a two-day qualification course must be carried out within one month of expiry. Don’t leave it any longer or you’ll have to take a full first aid at work course.
