The Lantra Awards Level 5 Diploma in Principles of Leadership and Management in Land-based Settings qualification has been developed to provide nationally recognised certification for those working in, or looking to work in, leadership and management roles within the environmental and land-based sector.

This Vocationally Related Qualification (VRQ) will provide you with the opportunity to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills for undertaking specific tasks within land-based industries in relation to leadership and management.
Working towards this qualification will also help you to consider the challenges involved in leadership and management, and to review your practice in meeting these challenges. It provides a flexible approach to suit your needs.

This qualification is available to you if you are over the age of 19. It is ideally suited to managers and/or first line managers working within a land-based environment wishing to develop their knowledge and understanding of leadership and management.What will be covered?

- how to review and develop their own practices and carry out a range of tasks.
