We keep the training groups small so that you'll receive plenty of individual attention from our experienced instructors throughout the process.

This course will give you the skills to carry out chainsaw maintenance and cross-cutting timber using a chainsaw.

Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-Cutting Timber using a Chainsaw Integrated Training and Assessment  has two power source pathways:

 

Liquid fuel-powered chainsaws

Maintenance for liquid fuel-powered chainsaws

Cross-cutting timber using a liquid fuel-powered chainsaw

 

Battery-powered chainsaws

Maintenance for battery-powered chainsaws
 
Cross-cutting timber using a battery-powered chainsaw.
 

Who should attend?

  • This training is not appropriate for Learners under the age of 16.
  • It is strongly recommended that operators hold as a minimum a current Emergency First Aid Certificate.
  • Learners must be able to read and interpret information provided in English.
  • As you'll appreciate, this course contains some practical activity that will require a minimum level of fitness. If you have any concerns, please speak to the Provider.
