The veterinary sector is worth over £2 billion to the UK economy and numbers of domestic pets are growing every year. In the UK today, there are over 23,000 veterinary surgeons, supported by over 14,000 qualified veterinary nurses who play an important role in supporting animal care and helping owners care for their pets.
We work in partnership with industry experts and the Royal College of Veterinary Science, developing the accredited level 3 work-based diploma in veterinary nursing, as well as the end point assessment apprenticeship standard (equivalent to a Modern Apprenticeship in Scotland and Wales).
