About
The original course was conducted in Europe (Holland and France) and this course, represents a ‘top up’ of the knowledge gained on the course.
The Worshipful Company of Saddlers have issued a Draft Occupational Standards for Saddle Fitters (2018) which details the role and standards of UK saddle fitters. A working group was formed by the MSFC Society Executive Team at the beginning of 2021 to determine the gaps in knowledge between the MSFC course and the Draft Occupational Standards (2018) document so that a short ‘top up’ course could be offered by the Society to deliver training online to address elements of professional practice to the suggested formal standard.
