The course consists of up to 10 days of training which will encompass the key lean techniques to enable business transformation in a unit-based approach. By starting from the ground up this will drive the workforce towards a continuous improvement culture and improve employee engagement.

Introduction to Lean and Soft Skills (Unit 1):Including History of Lean, Value Streams, How it Works, Continuous Improvement Culture, Confidence, Understanding your Audience and Overcoming Common Challenges.
Visual Management (Unit 2):Visualising Goals & Results, Red Lines, KPIs and Tiered Meetings.
Problem Solving Basic – The 5 Whys (Unit 3):Root Cause and The 5 Whys Technique.
Lean Principles, Transportation, Inventory, Motion, Waiting, Overproduction, Overprocessing, Defects and Skills.
Workplace Organisation (Unit 5):What is 5S and How to implement.
Standardisation, Baseline, Ensuring Safety, How to Prioritise and How to Sustain.
Process Mapping, Activity Flow and Value Stream Mapping.
