Course type:
Attendance: certificate of attendance issued after the course. This course is not an alternative to achieving the qualification in this area. Professional Users must achieve the associated qualification.
Refresher: Updating courses enabling re-issue of skills card or certificate. This course is for those who are already operating in industry and need to complete refresher training as set out in the Chainsaws at Work INDG317 document. Refresher training is not an alternative to achieving the qualifications.
Associated Qualification: Unit based with formal assessment providing a nationally recognised qualification. These are requirements for Professional Users under PUWER and Chainsaws at Work requirements.
ITA: Not suitable for professional users: Integrated Training and Assessment - a certified course that includes practical or knowledge based assessment.
