This one-day course is designed for persons to learn and develop effective time management techniques and prioritisation of tasks that are essential in the rural workplace, covering effective delegation in a small workforce. The course combines trainer led discussions, theory, and group exercises.

By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:
- Design and develop a prioritisation tool personal to themselves which integrates urgent and important sectors.
- Implement planning tools such as critical path analysis and Gantt charts.
- Assertive diary management.
- Develop a personal action plan.
- Describe the elements of results focused delegation.
- List several innovative ways of dealing with time related issues.
The course will present learners with a series of concepts and best practice time management ideas - “monkeys and frogs” along with opportunities to reflect on, discuss and put into practice those ideas.
